Ornamental fences ofsteel construction with braced steel posts bedded in concrete ex-tend throughout the length of the platform space and lietween thetracks. The two platforms mentioned arc for loading the outgoingcars and as the middle track is an incon)ing line the fences servethe double purpose of keeping the crowds on the incoming carsfrom interfering with cars being loaded and preventing peoplefrom crossing from one platform to the other except by meansof the subway shown on the map of the terminal.
