is one of the finest structures on the grounds and cost, exclusiveof ornamentation, $265,000, The heavier street railway and steam railroad exhibits, as loco-motives, cars, sweepers, etc., are housed in the Railway TerminalBuilding, The United States Government Buildings are located at theextreme end of the Esplanade, facing the east fountain. Theycost with their contents about $500,000, The Departmental ex-hibits are said to be the largest and most complete ever madeat any exposition. Other buildings belonging to the principal group have beennamed as follows: Horticulture, Mines, Graphic .-Xrts, Ethnology,Womens, .A.rt, Ordnance. Besides these are the various stateand foreign buildings. New York has a substantial edifice ofwhite marble, erected at a cost of $375,000. and which will be-come the permanent home of the BufTalo Historical Society.
