Akron & Southern; 7 carsfor Syracuse, N. Y., of the Chicago City convertible type; 10 carsfor the Georgetown, Pa., & Ipswich road, near Boston; eight 21-ft.body cars for the Union Traction Co., of Indiana. The Columbus, (O.), London & Springfield Railway Co., hascompleted the stringing of trolley and feed wires over a distanceof seven miles on the Columbus, Grove City and Southwesternbranch. Aluminum feed wire was used, marking an innovation onOhio interurban roads. The mechanical equipment at the newpower house has been installed, and the road will shortly be openedfor traffic.
