The shops and car house are at Lake St. and Harding .\ve.The building is on the surface level and is 450 ft. long and 60 ft.wide. SellersCo., of Philadelphia, runs along the west half of the building. The operating offices are in rooms on the second floor of theshop buildings, and the general offices in the Royal InsuranceHuilding. The olVicers of the Lake Street Elevated Railroad Co. arc: Presi-dent, D. H. Louderback; vice-president, A. S. Littletield; secretaryand treasurer. Howard .-\bel; general superintendent, Frank l^Icd-ley; engineer, Charles V. Weston; electrician. J. R Chapman. The Union Elevated. The Union Elevated Railroad Co. was incorporated in Novem-ber, 1894, by Mr. Yerkes and his associates for the purpose ofbuilding a down-town loop terminal for all the elevated roads inthe city. The Loop is a double track structure, 11,150 ft. long, withII stations. By a lease dated Oct. i, 1897, the road is granted to thsfour elevated railroads for their sole use
