TEN CARS ARE DRAWN IN ONE TRAIN. streets are crossed at grade, trains are run through with-out stop, making the eight miles in twelve to fifteenminutes. As many as 10 cars are drawn in one train;each car seating 96 persons. The terminal facilities aresuch that a full train load has been discharged frequentlyin 22 seconds and loaded in 30. The cutting off theengine and attaching another at what was the rear oftrain occupies but 37 seconds, hence the ability of thecompany to operate trains of 10 cars each every twominutes. Were all their 300 special cars in use theseating capacity would be 57,000 per hour, or over a1,000,000 per day. The local suburban trains stoppingat each station are good for 200,000 more a day. Johnston, wife and family of New York, wereJune visitors at the Exposition. R. J. B. SiiARiE, of Dick, Kerr & Company-, London,represents that old established firm at the Exposition. The attendance is constantly increasing and the totalreceipts for May exceed the first month of the Centennialby $125,000. George Daulton, of the Peckham Motor Truck &Wheel Company, assists Sales Agent P. S. Bemis at thePeckham exhibit. Waterman Stone, superintendent and general man-ager of the Kansas City Elevated, spent a few days duringthe month at the Worlds Fair. Paul H. Pages, New York, is holding the fort forJohn Stephenson Car Company, Ltd., in street carrow. Mr. Pages is an artist of repute. Frank C. Ma.son, late of the Telegraph Bureau ofPolice and Excise, New York, is honorary assistant of theBureau of Electricity of
