Summary
[edit]DescriptionThe spire of Eglwys Twrog Sant - geograph.org.uk - 509119.jpg |
English: The spire of Eglwys Twrog Sant Twrog was a Breton missionary with the rather disconcerting habit of hurling boulders from the top of mountains on to sinners. The village of Maentwrog (the stone of Twrog)is named after a megalith which stands by the church door which Twrog is said to have thrown from a great height to smash a pagan altar.
