Description
English: Relief on the Ruprechtsbau of Heidelberg Castle (Baden-Württemberg, Germany). Created between 1400 and 1410. There is a legend about this relief. These angels are the sons of a builder. They fell from a scaffolding when they visited their father and the kids died. Later the father saw them in a dream as angels.
