English: The scenic route, near Beachy Head Double-deckers maintain a 10 minute service on the No.12 route between Eastbourne and Brighton. It's a subtle traffic-calming measure, as each bus gathers a tail of cars between stops. The buses carry names of famous people... most are unknown to me, and this is an example: "Dame Millicent Fawcett". |
