Y.,have prepared blank specifications for plumbingin that city, and have sent copies to all theplumbers and architects in Syracuse, as well asto others, asking for revision, or suggestions.The Sanitary News is in receipt of a copy ofthese specifications, the substance of which is asfollows: In General.—Before beginning the workthe plumber is required to submit a copy of thespecifications and accompanying drawings at theoffice of the board of health. He is to furnishall materials which may be necessary to com-plete the work in a correct aad substantial man-ner, the specifications to govern in any donbtfulcase, rather than the drawings.
