| Description |
English: The ruins of Barics Mawr This barracks provided weeknight accommodation (Mon-Fri) for workers of the Bwlch-y-Groes and Cefn Du Quarries whose homes were further than an hour's walk from the workings. A green lane linked the barracks with the Bwlch-y-Groes Quarry. Another barrack block stood at Pen-y-bwlch, west of the Ffridd Incline's upper drum house. There were also barracks further down the Ffridd belonging to the Glynrhonwy Quarries.
