| Description |
English: The ruined open air pool at Wookey Hole I spent many a happy day at this pool in my teens. The picture here shows the remnants of the main pool and the central fountain.
The pool was and is part of the Wookey Hole Caves complex. It fell into disuse in the late 80s and has been boarded up and left to rot since then. The current owners of Wookey Hole Caves have applied for permission to build a 58 bed hotel on the site of the pool. |
