Summary

[edit]
Description
English: The ruined Capel Galltcoed Galltcoed which means "wooded hill" overlook the Dwyfach valley. This late medieval chapel is under the care of CADW, the Welsh historical monuments commission. It is built on land that once belonged to Conwy Abbey, and the names of the surrounding farms - Betws Fawr and Betws Fach - tend to suggest that it was a rosary house or, in the parlance of the time, a bead-house.
