Description
English: The royal arms of Elisabeth I. The motto "God Save the Queen" is less common than "Dieu et mon Droit" (God and my right). Halberdiers (Yeoman of the Guard) stand on each side, gesturing twoards the Royal badge worn on their chest, showing the Tudor Rose. Painted c1576. The wall paintings are in the Much Hadham Forge Museum.
