| Description | The time of mobile shops is also in my region at an end. It all started in 1925 with the founding of Migros. Migros stopped the mobile shops already in 2007. This is one of the former vehicles of Migros from 1990. It was operated by a local grocery and dairy till 24 October 2014. The daily route which it ran in the region Staad-Rorschach-Goldach had 53 stops. Many older people were glad when they could purchase convenience goods around the corner. Approximately it was known what time the car arrived, but the driver also honked always. Staad, Switzerland, Dec 10, 2014. |
