| Description |
English: The receding tide at Porth Dinllaen The tide is going out in this view revealing a wide expanse of shallow beach. Lon Brudyn meets the beach below the viewpoint and power boats may be launched from here between two lines of yellow buoys. Authorised motor vehicles may also be driven along the sand to the buildings further along the beach. This is not without its risks, however, as we saw whilst we were there. Fortunately the tractor used for launching boats was able to recover the errant car before the tide returned! |
