English: "The preamble, to be subscribed by all persons, who shall become adventurers in a national joynt stock, for the trade to East-India," printed broadside at London by the English Company Trading to the East Indies, 1698. 36 cm x 27 cm. The broadside apparently refers to the new trading company authorized by Parliament in 1698, which was later merged into the old East India Company.
