| Description |
English: The pillbox behind Theddlethorpe dunes Presumably positioned to attack the rear of invading forces as they advanced down Crook Bank its rear being covered by the dunes. Anyone unfortunate enough to have been manning this post if the Germans has landed here would not have lasted long - there are a couple of small loopholes covering the entrance to the rear but it could not have withstood a determined attack from the cover of the dunes. This shows one of the two loopholes looking inland taken through the one looking North |
