THE ERMINE GOES TO SEE STELLA 39 bigger animals can also, but its all right. They see theblack spot on the snow and jump for it; but its at the end ofthe Ermines tail so they always miss him, for by the time theyreach the black spot the Ermine has passed by. If the blacktip were on his nose it would be very terrible, for then theywould always catch him. You see there is always a reason for everything.
