In order to build a servicebuilding properly connected with the maincorridor of the Hospital, it will be necessaryto turn the operating suite on its axle, and ex-tend the corridor to meet the service building.When the private ward and the service build-ing have been completed, and there is no ob-stacle to the construction of these buildingson the selected plots, there will no longer beneed for the old North Ward, and in thisposition it is proposed to build (b) A modern Dispensary with an entrancefrom Howard Avenue for patients, reservingthe entrance to the Administration Buildingon Cedar Street for physicians. The erectionof a service building will also necessitate thedestruction of the greater portion of the Con-gress Avenue wing of the Brady LaboratoryAnnex, and it is proposed to erect (c) A laboratory (as indicated on Diagram 46
