Zulus and others 37 Ma-Gallas (now Ma-Hallapees), Ma-gatos, Nama-quas,Ghrika-quas, Dam eras (now Damaras), Korans (nowKorannas), and others to be referred to in due course.To give the definite descent of these different sectionsof Mongolian and Nyamonian hybrids would be a taskrequiring much time and travel, but if names enter atall into the question, it may be concluded that the Dame-ras are descended from the Damerghus in the Sahara,whose ancestors are not definitely known. There is asupposition that the majority were of Fulani, Moslemand Songhay extraction, and as there is much that isAsiatic in the Korans, it is possible that they again inpart were descended from a section of Mohammedans inEgypt, who professed the religion of Koran.
