Description
English: The old school in Shimpling Street The oldest part of this building was built by Thomas Hallifax in 1841 as a girls school, then in 1871, his daughter had the school enlarged to accommodate the boys. The two porches were used as one for boys and one for girls. The building was in use as a school up until 1989 when it closed.
