| Description |
English: The old school, Borreraig This former school and schoolhouse was previously used as the MacCrimmon Piping Heritage Centre.
The building was constructed 125 years ago in a traditional stone manner under a slated roof by Dr. Alexander Ross of Inverness (1834 - 1925). Up to the early sixties the dwelling house (left) and the school itself (right) were still in use for educating the children of Borreraig. The dwelling house is now let as a self catering holiday cottage. |
