Summary
[edit]DescriptionThe old Hairpin, Snetterton circuit - geograph.org.uk - 1128270.jpg |
English: The old Hairpin, Snetterton circuit Joining two straights made from the original airfield runways - the Norwich and Home straights - the hairpin was a very tight turn for cars like this Lola T70 Mk. 3 GT. My memory says this was one of the first times this car was seen, which makes it 1967. After the fuel crises of the 1970s the track was shortened and this piece of tarmac was taken over by the Sunday Market. Several old airfield buildings remain in the background of this shot. |
