The three following species, al-though not rare, are rather hard tophotograph, especially their nests andeggs in the original situation. A pho-tograph, of the nest and eggs of thefirst species is hard to obtain. In along experience this is the only oppor-tunity that I ever had to record thenesting of this bird with the camera,and I thought that perhaps an accountof the find and the result might proveof interest to the readers of THEOOLOGIST.Chimney Swift. (Chaetura pelagica). During the early summer of 1903,with two companions and fellow col-lectors I was camping in the southernpart of Washington County, Pennsyl- vania. By referring to my note bookfor that year I find that on June 26th,one of my comrades, while on his wayto a country store, found a ChimneySwifts nest in the large stone chim-ney of an old log cabin.
