Summary

[edit]
Description
English: The most southerly point on the inland waterways system Or correctly, the most southerly point on the currently connected inland waterways system, because there are plans to restore the Wey and Arun Canal near here to provide a link to the south coast.

For now, this is it, and a boater can have the satisfaction of turning round and knowing that everything else is north, all the way to Ripon in Yorkshire or Tewitfield in Lancashire, both of which can be reached by a long cruise from here.

Iona is a boat that provides horse-drawn trips and is often seen here adjacent to one of the original Godalming wharf buildings.
