Summary

[edit]
Description And here is the locomotive pushing from the rear. As I had explained in earlier captions, all GO Transit trains of the Toronto suburban network are of the push pull variety, where the engine pulls in one direction and pushes from the rear on the return leg. Full driving controls are built into the last car (as you saw in previous pictures) and the train is wired throughout so that all the locomotive's controls can te operated from the rear 'driving trailer' car. This engine pushing is # 608 of GO Transit's standard class MP40PH-3C. (Niagara Falls, Ontario, Canada. Nov. 2015)
