These were the early days of last March. InApril nearly seven hundred pearls were received; before Maywas out there were over two thousand; and there were nearlythree thousand when the exhibition of single gems was held inJune. To-day the pearls which are to be sold number closeon four thousand. -^m^ Copyright 1919, by The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co. Saving 5,000 Miles By Truing Up Wheels A LARGE multi-cylinder car recentlycame to a Goodyear Service Station inChicago with the treads on two GoodyearCord Tires showing evidence of recentrapid wear. The tires had run 8,500miles, but in the last few days the treadshad been wearing down alarmingly. Itwas found that a recent accident hadtwisted the front wheels seriously, so thatthey were out of line. The grinding actiondue to this misalignment was cutting downthe treads so rapidly that in a few daysmore the tires would have been out ofcommission. The wheels were re-aligned.The tires ran a total of more than 13,500miles. 5,000 miles of tire wear were savedin this case by truing up** the wheels intime. Have your Goodyear Service Sta-tion Dealer test your car today for wheelalignment, NE car in three has wheels out of line that robtheir tires of thousands of miles. Not even the Goodyear All-Weather Tread canlong resist the grinding
