Description
English: The light installation "Making women visible" was made by the artists Victoria Albrecht and Yuvia Maini for Nobel Week Lights 2021. The installation was supported by Sveriges Riksdags demokratijubileum. It was created to make women in more visible in politics and as nobel prize recepients. The installation represenants the first five female parliamentarians of Sweden Elisabeth Tamm, Nelly Thüring, Bertha Wellin, Kerstin Hesselgren and Agda Östlund and the first three female Swedish Nobel prize laurates Selma Lagerlöf, Nelly Sachs and Alva Myrdal.
Svenska: Ljusinstallationen "Making women visible" gjordes av konstnär Victoria Albrecht och Yuvia Maini för Nobel Week Lights 2021. Installationen stöds av Sveriges Riksdags demokratijubileum. Konstverken gör kvinnorna mer synliga både i politiken och som nobelpristagere. Ljusinstallationen representeras de första fem kvinnliga politiker i Sverige Elisabeth Tamm, Nelly Thüring, Bertha Wellin, Kerstin Hesselgren och Agda Östlund och de första tre kvinnliga svenska nobelpristagere Selma Lagerlöf, Nelly Sachs och Alva Myrdal.
