Summary

[edit]
Description
English: The large ram’s head snuff mull mounted in silver has 3
wheels for passing it around the table. There are two
containers---one for the snuff and the second with 13 holes, presumably for the accoutrements. It was presented to the officers’ Mess 91st Argyll Highlanders by Lieutenants Marney and W Grant on promotion Jubbulpore 30th September 1864 and the shield bears the names of the officers serving in the Regiment at that time.
