John Davis of Captn Hamiltons Company of Artillery tried by a CourtMartial, whereof Coll. Malcomb was President, was convicted of Desertion andSentanced to Receive 39 Lashes; Levi Webster of Captn Hydes Comy, Coll.Wyllis Regt, convicted by the same Court Martial of ye same Offence, sentancedto Receive the same Punishment. The Genl approves the Sentances, and ordersthem to be executed on the Regimental Parade at the Usual Hour in the morning. A Court Martial consisting of a Commandant of a Brigade, 2 Colls., 2 Lt.Colls., 2 Majrs and 6 Captains, to set tomorrow at Mrs. Montainies. to tryMajr Post of Coll.
