Summary

[edit]
Description
English: The infant Arkle Beck Arkle Beck is formed by the confluence of William Gill and Annaside Beck half a kilometre upstream of this point, where the infant river passes under a small bridge carrying the track to Leading Stead Bottom. The peaty water flows from a catchment of about 10 square kilometres lying to the SW, and won't pick up significant drainage from the north until Mud Beck joins a kilometre downstream.
