Summary
[edit]DescriptionThe hidden secret on the point (652580592).jpg |
A panorama of Little Dennis Blockhouse, hidden from view until you walk to the end of Pendennis Point, in Falmouth, Cornwall. This used to be a lookout in Tudor times, with Pendennis Castle as the main line of defence, with St Mawes Castle on the other side of the River Fal. The two protected the river from what Henry VIII feared would be an entry point for invasion. |
