Summary

DescriptionThe giant fort of Visapur!.jpg	English: A photo of the giant fort named Visapur standing firmly even today against the strong forces of nature. I still wonder how many battles, how many rulers, how many people and seasons it has seen till date and still, it is standing there against all the odd forces of nature! Seen in the photo is the road going towards the fort. If you zoom, you can also see some people walking on the road and you can realize how tiny those people are as compared to the fort. I photographed this fort in July when the monsoon rains are heavily active in India which are responsible for all the greenery surrounding the fort. If you visit after around four months, you will see the greenery starting to replace with flowers blooming all around. Starting November till May, all the green part gets replaced with yellow color consisting of dried up plants with the immense heat. About fort: This fort, Visapur, lies in Malavali village near Lonavala, Pune. It is one hour drive from Pune and two-three hour drive from Mumbai.
