Description This foundation stone was laid on 27 June 1936 by John Augustine Longley of Holy Trinity Chelsea in the presence of Guy Vernon, Bishop of Willesden and in the 35th year of the translation of Arthur Foley, Lord Bishop of London. The priest in charge at the time was Stanley W. Knight, the architect was Arthur William Kenyon and the church wardens were G.W.B. Wilkins and H.E. Burdon.
