| Description |
English: The ford at Ochre Hole, Cowcliffe Road, Fixby This is on an old road from Elland and Brighouse to Huddersfield, probably the only one fit for coaches before the modern main roads were built as turnpike roads. It skirts round the edge of Fixby Park, and might be a diversion of the direct route across the Park, which is now a footpath. |
