KATE GRAY. (5 ft.)—Green foliage. Flowersrigh orange scarlet finely flaked and streaked witligolden yellow tints. Large orchid-flowering va-riety. MXJSAFOLIA. (8 ft.)—Bronze-green foliage. Grownfor foliage only, which is attractive on account ofits enormous Musa-like leaves, 3x5 feet, and thegreat height to which it grows. Symmetrical atevery stage of growth.

Olympic—Note immense spread of petals ^NEW YORK. (5 ft.)—Rich purple-plum colored foli-age. Flowers of great size produced freely andwell above the foliage. Color is almost scarlet.Very choice. ^NIAGARA. (3 ft.)—Green foliage. Flowers richdeep crimson with a wide, irregular border of deepgolden yellow; the most popular variety for bor-dering beds of other Cannas. ^OLYMPIC. (5 ft.)—Green foliage. The co-or effectpresented by Olympic is new in Cannas andmost fascinating. It is a distinctly new departure,being a most captivating shade of rich orient-redwith center flamed a lighter shade and dappled 26 THE CONARD & JONES CO. carmine. Individual blossoms are of the largestsize, and the huge twenty-flowered clusters makeheads that are simply immense. (See cut page 25.) ^OTTAWA. (6 ft.)—Green foliage. Flowers, 5 to 6inches across, are carmine with tints of old roseand deep coral, add to this the silken sheen andyou can imagine the effect a few plants will pro-duce. ^PANAMA. (3
