English: The falls of Pull Beck at Pull Scar on Black Fell We heard the sound of the water before our eyes were drawn through the trees to the cause. The gap in the trees at the top of the ridge shows the height the falls begin at, and that there is more to be seen on a closer inspection. Visitors here in the summer would hear the sound thereof, but know not whence it came.... |
