Of all the nerves most frequently affected, the seventh cer-vical is prominent, in all neurasthenic conditions. Pressure atthe seventh cervical vertebra is painful, and positive galvanisa-tion gives prompt relief. Head Pains In this country, where so many are afflicted with what the Europeanscall Aniericanitis, meaning a condition of sub-acute or chronic nervousunbalance, due to our strenuous manner of life, headache is a still morecommon symptom than is dyspepsia, but we as physicians, are not calledon so much for the relief of this symptom, as we would be if it were not forthe patent medicine habit which is so prevalent.
