English: The dune system at Winterton-on-Sea Winterton Dunes is a dune system of 108 hectares. It is unusual because of its ecological similarities to the dune systems of the Baltic: the sand dunes are interspersed by peaty areas, where heather and reindeer moss can be found growing in abundance. |
