Each turbine unit is made upof six snail units opeaating on the sane sh-^t -^to. this is controlledby a Lombard governor having a rating of 60,000 foot pounds. The total length of the six turbines vrhen theyare coupled in series is about 60 feet. The shaft is 14 inches in diameterand made from the best nictel steel.
