Created by Dimitrios Cholidis as a result of thoughts on harmony progressions, published at https://jimishol.github.io/post/tonality/.
By mapping minor chords or scales to straight side connections and major chords or scales to curved paths of the circle of fifths, a structure of harmonic progressions can be placed on the surface of an umbilic torus. Its unfolding can precisely accommodate part of the tonnetz diagram.
