Fig. 1177 shows the tottering remains of what has been a good example FOURTH PERIOD 66 — HOUSES IN HADDINGTON of a town Iiouse in the Nungate of Haddington. It bears the date 1658over the entrance doorway, which is formed in a small angular porch likeone of the foregoing examples.
