Summary

[edit]
Description
English: The beach, Slaughden The shingle beach and bank stretches away to England's most northerly Martello Tower, with the North Sea to the left (east) and the River Alde over the bank to the right. The village of Slaughden was here, but the last buildings were washed away in the last century, and Slaughden is now just a yacht club (spot the masts) on the southern edge of Aldeburgh.
