Description
English: The banks of the Leam The hawthorn, right, is the characteristic natural vegetation on the north bank of the river. The width of the floodplain to the south can be judged. Can such a small river need such a wide floodplain? Yes! It has an extensive catchment on heavy soils. The building swathed in white on the skyline is Radford Semele parish church: SP3464 It suffered a serious fire in 2008 http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Radford_Semele
