Theskeletons are all reported by Mr. Bateman to have been those of females,but possibly he may have erred in some instances. A very fine set of beads of jet, or possibly cannel coal,found at Pen-y-Bonc, near Ty Mawr, Holyhead, has been engraved inthe Archccoloifical Journal* and is, through the kindness of the Hon.W. 0. Stanley, shown in Figs. 376 and 377. The flat beads were notengraved with any patterns. Armlets of bronze are said to have beenfound with them.
