The finer of the two, of which mention has already been made ashaving formed part ot the collection of Mr. Warren, of Ixworth, is nowin my own, and is shown in Fig. 420. It is more convex on one facethan the other, and a portion of the butt presents an almost scraper-like 490 RIVER-DRIFT IMPLEMENTS. (CHAT\ XXIII. appearance, The angles formed by the facets are slightly worn, and the surface of the flint has beenmuch altered in character,having become nearly white,and quite lustrous. This al-teration in structure is almostuniversal with the Icklinghamimplements, though in manycases they are ochreous in-stead of white, and not un-frequently the discoloration isonly partial, giving them adappled appearance.
