eam. The division of horticulture, entomology, and mycol-ogy occupies exclusively a small well-built barn and an undergroundcellar for the storage of roots and other horticultural products. Atool house is conveniently situated to the forcing structures. Thedairy building (PI. CXLI1, fig. 1), a wooden structure, was erected in1893. A new and commodious barn is now in course of erection. Itconsists of a main building, two stories high, the basement partly ofstone and under a hillside, the rest of the structure of wood, 100 by40 feet, with two wings, one 100 by 30 feet, the other 80 by 30 feet.There are stalls for 102 head of stock, 10 box stalls, milk room, andtwo large round silos, one connected with each wing by a short passageor way. The veterinary building (PI. CXLII, fig. 2) is a two-storywooden structure heated by steam. The first floor is occupied withdrug and instrument room, dissecting, photographic, and janitors U. S.
