Summary

[edit]
Description
English: The World's End Public House The World's End is situated on the spot where four parishes meet and originally all drinks were served in the farmhouse parlour. The inn was the first to be granted a licence to sell beer in Dorset in 1589. More modern history has been made in the pub too, for Lord Montgomery stayed at the inn in 1942 when as Field Marshall he was planning the Normandy invasion.
