Description
English: A broadside satirising Benjamin Hoadly; with an engraving showing in the centre his portrait in an oval beneath the date 1641. On either side are arms and banners: those on the left showing an axe and a cipher, perhaps "OP" for Oliver Protector, and on the right a calf's head and two rumps labelled as such. Engraved title and verses in two columns warning of the perils of non-conformism with references to earlier events and persons.(n.p.; [1709])
