Summary

[edit]
Description
English: The Wherry Line A train of the Wherry Lines, on its way from Great Yarmouth to Acle. The Wherry Lines are a network of railway lines that operate eastwards from Norwich to Great Yarmouth and Lowestoft. Once popular with those heading for the seaside and nearby holiday camps, the lines are now shadows of their former selves, operating only one or two small trains per hour. The network is named after the Wherry, a type of sailing barge used on the Norfolk Broads. http://www.bbc.co.uk/dna/h2g2/A12218627. The view was taken from the footpath on Tunstall dyke.
